Re: Trudeau pushes ahead on fertilizer reduction as provinces and farmers cry foul, column, online edition, July 22

Justin Trudeau is pushing his ideology over common sense. He will not be satisfied until Canada’s economy is destroyed and more Canadians are dependent on food banks. His idiotic war on fossil fuels is a main contributing factor to a near-40-year-high inflation rate.

Farmers, already struggling to survive because of rising fuel and other costs caused by Trudeau‘s policies, now will be severely affected by having to reduce fertilizer use. Fertilizer costs have already gone through the roof because of the war in Ukraine. Reducing fertilizer will mean lower crop yields, resulting in Canadians paying much more for those foods.

While Trudeau is causing everyone financial suffering because of his ideologically driven green dream, two of the biggest CO2 polluters, China and India, are unwilling to sacrifice their economies and are adding more and more coal-fired plants.

Folks, Trudeau has run out of ideas and is now stuck on fighting climate change and making everything about race. Trudeau needs to be given the boot before he can cause can even more economic hardships.

Forty years ago, Pierre Trudeau signed into law the Constitution and the accompanying Charter of Rights and Freedoms, a cherished document that the son invokes when it suits him and ignores when it does not.

The Liberals already have a national shill in the CBC, they subsidize major print media and now Bill C-11 proposes government censorship of social media, something Russia’s Vladimir Putin already enjoys. What could possibly go wrong?

In seven short years, Justin Trudeau has doubled the debt, obliterated any notion of openness, transparency and accountability, struggled with truth, manipulated the parliamentary system by proroguing, thus breaking a pledge, and formed a coalition with the NDP.

He has obstructed resource development, denying resulting jobs, revenues, potential aid in global emission reduction, support for Indigenous communities, help with energy poverty and support for democracies across the globe while further alienating the West.

Disagreement with our anointed PM brands you a racist, misogynist, rapist or Neanderthal. Inflation is at a 30-plus-year high, gasoline is at historic levels and interest rates are rising. The Liberal response is continued massive deficits, believing them to be a solution rather than inflationary in their own right.

If the well-insulated elites consider such mundane things as the rising cost of living, the likely response will be more government programs keeping Canadians dependent, with yet more borrowed money, fuelling more inflation.

Canadian economic productivity, a key competitive performance indicator, continues to decline. Well done.

VERY DIFFERENT LEADERS

It’s a story of two countries: Ukraine has a real leader who is willing to give his life for his country and doesn’t hesitate to get rid of corruption within, while Canada, on the other hand, has in place someone more suited to Disneyland than leading a country, who places incompetents in positions that assist him in the slow destruction of what was once a great country.
