Re: PM travels the world, while regular Canadians struggle, column, Sept. 25

Lorne Gunter knows Mr. Freeze all too well. Here is a supposed leader who spends most of his time jetting around the world schmoozing and hobnobbing with other politicians and, of course, big shots like Klaus Schwab from the WEF.

The fact of the matter is that Justin does not care about the plight of ordinary Canadians or he would have long ago instituted an economic plan that would have included paving the way for more fossil fuel pipelines. The man lived a privileged childhood and never had to undergo any true hardship like making sure there was enough money for the rent, groceries and heating the abode.

Gunter is right, sending billions to overseas projects may ingratiate oneself to global NGOs but it does not impress the people he was elected to serve. I was listening to a French talk show where most of the guests were condemning our PM for his piano bar actions over in Londontown. He is completely out of touch with the regular folks.

The sound of prime minister Poilievre cannot come soon enough.

(The plight of ordinary Canadians might just haunt him in the next election.)

HOW DOES IT HELP, JUSTIN?

How many times has Trudeau said his government is working hard and is focusing on making life better for Canadians? Higher taxes, new taxes, inflation and cost of living increases are the “tools” used by the Trudeau government to help achieve his goal. And with more tax hikes like the annual increase of the carbon tax, how can Canadians’ lives be better? The CT rebates do not come close to what the CT actually costs. In 2023, the clean fuel standard tax will start. Expect no pittance of a rebate on this.

So, Justin Trudeau, how does all this help Canadians? How does taking money out of the pockets and bank accounts of Canadians help them? How does making putting food on the table or keeping a roof over one’s head out of reach a better/good life?

But the Liberals believe all this to be positive and act as if everything is great. Truly a sad government leading Canada when it fails to see what is happening. Even sadder, are the hordes of Eastern Canada voters who support the Liberals and Trudeau. Is Eastern Canada in favour of high taxes? I do not think so. There is a huge disconnect between what the Liberal government is doing, what Canada wants or wanted, and what is actually going on.

Trudeau and his liberals have to go or today’s Canada will just cease to exist.

FAIRVIEW, ALTA.

(It will continue to exist, just be unrecognizable to many.)

MONDAYS WITH WARREN

I am really hoping Warren Kinsella’s writings continue in your Monday print edition in the future.

This person is volunteering for Joe Biden and the Democrats in the U.S.A., which is not surprising when you investigate and see what a wonderful job Biden is doing.

It is wonderful to hear the views of all politicians, but this guy is totally out to lunch.
